Well the long anticipated day was finally here, we finally got Dylan packed by 1:30 am the night before. It was difficult to pack two years of his life into two suitcases.
Waking up that morning was such a bitter sweet day. Trying to enjoy every last moment. We were able to ride down to Provo together - Thanks to Tyson's family suburban - and stopped at "Potbelly's" (one of Dylan's new favorite restaurants) for lunch. Great sandwiches and yummy ice cream sandwiches.
We drove by the new Provo Town Center Temple and then to the Provo Temple. We saw Elder Matt Cena and were able to get a quick picture of him and Dylan together. How cool is that since they were together on that previous Sunday.
We were able to take a few pictures and then head over to the MTC. There were many missionaries getting dropped off. We waited in line and then it was our turn to pull up to the curb and unload the suitcases. Wow - one last hug before someone came to get Dylan and take him inside to begin his long anticipated mission. Watching him walk away was tough, but knowing what he will be doing gives us a peaceful feeling. He will be a Great Missionary and A great Companion.
We will miss him dearly, but can't wait to be a part of the wonderful two years ahead.
Thanks for all your love and support over the years and especially the last few weeks. We love and appreciate you all.
Love Karen, Chad and Family.
